Because damage mods are addative while Bane mods are multiplicative. If you have serration and heavy caliber, you're doing 100% + 165% + 165% damage for a total of 430% damage. T4 survivals make this an invalid statement. Plus the drop rate for fusion cores in the rest of the game is much higher than the drop rate of Serration. I use Sweeping Serration. Like Lethal said, use Viral to go with slash procs. Slash procs hit health directly so halving it helps alot and it makes stripping armor unimportant. Edit: Did some math. Kuva weapons have a neutral dispo, so a normal riven modded Kohm might be better. I have heard there was some issue with Toxin bonus on Kuva weapons. I would probably go for Electricity.
